Two days ago, the Labor and Welfare Committee approved the first reading of a critical bill. The proposed legislation would deny extremely abusive employers from attaining permits to employ migrant workers. In particular, the bill targets those employers suspected of, or convicted of human trafficking and modern day slavery. The promotion of this law is MK Michal Rozin, who continues to work tirelessly for the protection of most marginalized and vulnerable workers in the economy.
