The meeting, complex in even the best of cases, is also a coming together of two vulnerable groups within society. One a caregiver who has taken out a loan, left her family and small children behind to travel to a foreign country in order to make a living. The other an elderly man adjusting to the reality that he can no longer live and function independently. But this meeting is also between employer and employee and into this complex relationship enter legal requirements and obligations which dictate employment and working conditions.
