For every month a worker is employed full time, they accumulate 1.5 sick days – or in total, 18 sick days per year. Workers are entitled to payment for absence due to medical circumstances, starting with the second day they are out of work. They are entitled to 50% of their normal pay for the second and third days of their leave, and 100% of it for the fourth day onwards.
